We’re still traveling but continue to pray for all of you and for healing. I know in spite of the bad times the “Best” times are coming and all will be well with you again! You are both strong and I know God takes care of his very own.
We love you and will continue our prayers and watch this blog.
Thank you Jesus for Mike, Karla and the family.
Love you all,
Bill and Barb
P.S. Thank God for wonderful doctors and nurses and all caregivers!!!!!!

Dear Mike and Karla,
We just want you to know that you are on our daily prayer list, and that we have put you, Mike and the family on our prayer list at church, we’ve had Mike on our prayer chain at church, and I’ve called many friends to pray as well. God is good. He’s walking with you, hand in hand and is faithful. He will give you his strenth.
In His love,
Judy and Erv

Karla, I know you will find the strength to do all that needs to be done during this time because God gives us the stamina and will to survive. Know you are being lifted up so many times by friends and family and people you don’t even know are praying intercessory prayers for your family as well. Max and I send our love and prayers. Darlene

Mike,
I spoke to Bill Peters when back in Newton at my niece’s High School Graduation. He told me of your illness and battle. A long time has passed since we have spoke – but I wanted to let you to know that my family and friends will be praying for you (like so many others). I know you have great faith and realize what great powers prayer can bring. As a man of faith you know that our Lord has sent you down this path for some reason…. as you have referred to in this website -Romans 8:28.
May our Lord’s grace and peace be with you and your family always. Chris Mc

Hi Mike and Karla! It is your cousin from Nebraska here! Mike I wanted you to know that I had lunch with your dad, Aunt Mary, Al, and cousin Nancy a few weeks ago, they came to visit my mom. It was wonderful seeing everyone, and they told me about your journey and this blog. I have read it from beginning to end, and am truly amazed at all you and your family have been through! You are such a fabulous writer, I can only imagine how you have moved every person who has attended your church! Your continued faith and positive outlook has touched me deeply. I will continue to pray for your health and the health and happiness of your family! You are so blessed to have met such a wonderful woman, and I can only imagine what a great father you are!
I wanted to share a blog address of a man who is currently dealing with some of the same issues you have had to deal with. I happened upon it one day, and can’t get it out of my mind that I needed to share it with you. I don’t know him personally, but his walk with God through his experience is so moving. It is http://www.jumpdavidjump.typepad.com
Well, I just wanted you to know I continue to pray for you and your family, I will be thinking of you all at Thanksgiving! It was always such a special time when we all got together as kids, I will always remember you playing the piano for us, and how much I always admired you. Please take care and know that our thoughts are with you! With Love, Sheryl
